i liked this episode…nice pacing, cute movie reference jokes, babar and layla, a few laughs, fred tupper being humane and realizing the same in Islam, the faith angle, the death as equalizer angle, woman’s wisdom (fatimah knew fred liked her all along) and mostly, not too much sarah! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Boy is Amaar a bad lawyer.

Fred didn’t have a legal leg to stand on. Rayyan made no diagnosis and was very careful not to make a diagnosis, so Fred had no reason to think he was dying.

I guess we have to chalk this up to the show being a comedy, and not a legal (or medical) drama.

By the way, what is that cap thing and does one have to wear one of those when in the Mosque?

This episode is way better than the last two.

    I loved this episode.
The show finally has returned to its roots – fun, witty, and no need for diluting the Muslim element.
I feel that the show has lost touch with its original concept for well over the past year and a half.
It’s little coincidence that the creator of the show, Zarqa Nawaz, was a writer for this episode – Please keep her on for more as she knows how to make this concept work.

  6. The cap thing is a kufi–it’s cultural, not religious.

I think you mean Season 3, Episode 13 on the title there. I was all excited and thinking there was an episode 14 already (:

what does fred say in the very beginning in Rayyan’s office, right before Rayyan says, “Yes Fred, almost certainly”?

    Ayesha-

I believe he said “At least I have a day, right?” or “they do have at least a day”

I haven’t seen this episode in a while but yeah, after reviewing it why did Sarah give Fred that hat saying “if you ever want to visit the Mosque again”. It did almost sound like you needed the hat to attend Mosque.

    Speaking of Muslim hats
